Victory for Women with Blood Disorders (V4W) is an initiative started by the National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF). Victory for Women addresses serious issues faced by women with bleeding disorders.

Their primary focus is to stimulate awareness of women’s bleeding disorders in order for girls and women to receive early, accurate diagnoses, inevitably leading to better health outcomes. They also strive to provide women who are affected by these disorders education, support, resources and skills they require.

The NHF provides funding to get the word out through education, social marketing, and programs for healthcare providers as well as girls and women. They also provide resources and support to provide opportunities for skill building, encourage women to get involved with V4W, scholarships for women with bleeding disorders to pursue a certificate or degree in post- secondary education, as well as many more.
