Gary M Cohen, BSPharm, RPh, is Founder and CEO of Specialty Pharma Journal. He is agraduate of Long Island University's Brooklyn College of Pharmacy. In 1989 he founded Power-Pak Communications, a medical communications publisher and provider of accredited pharmacy and medical education. He then founded Synergy Healthcare Communications, a managed markets full service agency that specialized in managed care formulary access strategies. Synergy also developed a medication education and publishing company, focusing on managed care business-to-business communication.

Ericka Ciancarelli is currently the Marketing Director for Specialty Pharma Journal where she manages and oversees marketing strategies, advertising and promotional activities in order to meet organizational objectives. She is also responsible for comparing and analyzing marketing research, pharmaceutical and biotech market conditions, competitor data and implementing marketing plans.
Prior to for Specialty Pharma Journal, Ericka worked as an Associate Account Executive for Synergy Healthcare Communications, a strategic healthcare marketing and advertising agency located in Tampa, Fl. While working for Synergy, Ms. Ciancarelli worked with Senior staff on the development of marketing pitches, managed day to day account activities and assisted as a liaison to internal departments, vendors, clients.
Ms. Ciancarelli is a member of the Business Women’s Leadership Exchange, The National Association of Professional Business Women and Women in Aviation, International. Ericka earned her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Marketing degree from the University of South Florida, College of Business in 2004.
Stanley Watkins, MD

Dr. Watkins is currently in private practice internal medicine and family practice in the greater Tampa area. He is board certified in internal medicine and a member of the American College of Sports Medicine and American Academy of Family Practice. He currently serves as a team physician for the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League.
Previously, he worked as Medical Director for Synergy Healthcare Communications, a full service pharmaceutical advertising company serving many clients in the pharmaceutical industry, and is now taking on a similar position with Specialty Pharma Journal.

Nicole Watkins is currently the Editorial Coordinator for Specialty Pharma Journal where she manages the incoming content and traffic reports from authors and editorial providers. Prior to working at Specialty Pharma Journal, she obtained her Bachelors of Science from Florida State University in Marketing, College of Business in August 2010.
Garrison Cohen
Part-Time Intern, Legal Editor
Garrison Cohen, 20, is from Tampa, Florida and attended Sickles High School. At Sickles, Garrison was a primary officer in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, captain of the rugby team, and a member of the national honor society. He has given back to his community by volunteering with a local youth group and mentoring inner-city youth. After graduation from high school Garrison was accepted to the University of Central Florida. He is currently the Vice President of the Rugby Club and the Risk Management officer of Tau Kappa Epsilon, the fraternity he is a member of. He is pursuing his Bachelors of Science in Legal Studies and plans to attend law school after graduating from UCF. Apart from his time at the Coye Law Firm, Garrison also works as a pharmacy technician at CVS and a research assistant for the legal journal of specialtypharmajournal.com. He hopes to specialize in pharmaceutical or international corporate law. Garrison enjoys playing and watching sports, traveling, and music studies.
